Calderon is a volcano-like enemy from Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. It can be found floating in lava lakes and constantly spews fire out the top of its head. Occasionally, it will erupt and spew two molten rocks high into the air, which can be captured using the Yarn Whip. Touching the top of Calderon's head or the molten rocks will hurt Kirby or Prince Fluff. Calderon is immune to the Yarn Whip and to the Weight move, but it can be defeated by tossing a Yarn ball at it or by using a Ravel Ability.
In Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, Calderon can be found in Stage 2 of the Sub-Game Slash & Bead. Here, it retains its normal function of spewing molten rocks which Meta Knight must carefully dodge. Meta Knight is able to slash through Calderons with his sword or defeat them with his Special, and doing either will net him beads.
Locations[edit]
Calderon can be found only in the Lava Landing stage.
