Danglerfish is a large anglerfish enemy from Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. He sits and waits in underwater tunnels for Kirby or Prince Fluff to draw near, then he will try to inhale them. If Danglerfish catches one of them, he will chew on them for a moment, then spit them out to deal damage. If Kirby or Fluff manage to escape his suction, he will stop and have to catch his breath, becoming vulnerable to attack. Danglerfish can then be defeated by pulling on his light rod using the Yarn Whip.
Etymology
The name "Danglerfish" is derived from "anglerfish", a predatory deep-sea fish, and "dangle", possibly referring to the bioluminescent light of an anglerfish which dangles in front of the fish to lure in its prey.
