Dino Jungle is the fourth mandatory area of Hot Land in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by using the Torch Patch. This area takes place in a thick jungle with several dinosaur-like creatures acting as props. Completing this stage is necessary to obtain the Pepper Patch and unlock the battle with Hot Wings.
Patch animation[edit]
Upon tossing the patch, a fire is started under a large bone-in chunk of meat to cook it. Once cooked, a dinosaur wakes up, smelling the meat. After eating the meat, the door is revealed on the leftover bone which opens to reveal Dino Jungle.
Overview[edit]
The stage begins in the jungle behind a large brontosaurus. Kirby can use a winch to raise the bronto's neck, providing the way forward. From here, after riding a pterodactyl upward, Kirby will need to cross several large ponds by riding the heads of more dinosaurs. After passing the third pond, Kirby will need to wiggle through several narrow tunnels past Shelby and other guardians. After passing a 'waterfall', Kirby will have to bounce atop the heads of some chomping T-rexes to get to the bonus bell and end the stage.
