“ | These guys are always by themselves at parties. They're real ceiling drips! | ” | — Patch Plaza description |
Dropso is a blue stationary blob enemy that appears in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. It is first seen in Patch Castle and later reappears in Cool Cave. Dropsos do not move or attack, allowing Kirby to easily turn them into yarn balls. When destroying a block or enemy with a Dropso in yarn ball form, a splash sound effect is heard. These enemies spawn continuously from sources of dripping water; even after destroying a Dropso, another will appear moments later in the same location.[1]
Locations
Dropso can be found in the following levels and stages in Kirby's (Extra) Epic Yarn:
Trivia
- Dropsos are strikingly similar to the Bot enemies in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, both in appearance and in the fact that they respawn endlessly by dripping from the ceiling.
