"The World to Win" is a musical piece composed by Hirokazu Ando which features primarily in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. It is used for the battle with Flowered Sectonia and Soul of Sectonia.

Game appearances[edit]

Hypernova Kirby attempts to inhale Flowered Sectonia's giant power beam in the final standoff.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]

"The World to Win" appears as Track 104 in Kirby: Triple Deluxe's Jukebox. It's an orchestral remix of the following three themes playing in order:

For the second phase of Soul of Sectonia, however, a different version is used instead with the following playing order:

This version loops in the same way as the original version. It can be found as Track 124 in Kirby: Triple Deluxe's Jukebox but it's not included in Kirby: Triple Deluxe Soundtrack CD.

Super Smash Bros. series[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the original version of "The World to Win" appears as a default theme for the DLC stage Dream Land.

"The World to Win" also returns as a selectable music track for all Kirby series stages, Battlefield, Final Destination and their derivatives in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Kirby Fighters Deluxe[edit]

While primarly based upon "Bouncing Boss Battle", a portion of "The World to Win" is remixed into the title screen theme of Kirby Fighters Deluxe, itself also titled "Kirby Fighters Deluxe".[1] It plays at the same tempo as "Bouncing Boss Battle", and is in B Minor. This theme is also remixed into the battle transition themes for the Single-Player campaign, and additionally plays during the final phase of the fight against Team DDD on Easy, Normal and Hard difficulties.

Kirby: Planet Robobot[edit]

In The True Arena, "Kirby Fighters Deluxe" is reused for Mid-Boss All-Stars 2.

Kirby Battle Royale[edit]

"Kirby Fighters Deluxe" is once again used for the Kirby clone ambush in the prologue to Dedede's Cake Royale.

Kirby Star Allies[edit]

During Morpho Knight's boss battle in Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! and Soul Melter (EX) of The Ultimate Choice, if player 1 is Taranza, Morpho Knight's theme will be replaced by a medley of Queen Sectonia's battle themes, which includes "The World to Win". The track title on Kirby Star Allies: The Original Soundtrack is 月魄げつはくのファントム (Phantom of the Moon’s Spirit).

This medley is arranged by Hirokazu Ando. It can be found as Track 182 in the Kirby Star Allies Jukebox as of Version 4.0.0.

Super Kirby Clash[edit]

A remix of "Phantom of the Moon’s Spirit", which primarily adds electronic sounds and effects to the original medley, plays during the Super Party Quest against Taranza.

Kirby Fighters 2[edit]

After clearing Story Mode: The Destined Rivals, the menu theme becomes a medley of the original Kirby Fighters title theme along with "Kirby Fighters Deluxe" and "Kirby Fighters 2: The Destined Rivals"; this song is also used with an added intro as the Secret Song for Stage of the Partners. It is named "History of Kirby Fighters" in the Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe Jukebox and is composed by Hirokazu Ando.

"Kirby Fighters Deluxe" is also remixed as the title theme of Single-Handed Mode, which adds an extra portion featuring "Hypernova Inhale", giving it even greater resemblance to "The World to Win".

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]

In Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, the "History of Kirby Fighters" arrangement plays in the secret path for the Tower of Mid-Bosses in Extra Mode.

Other appearances[edit]

"The World to Win" is paired with Fatal Blooms in Moonlight in a piano and violin focused medley to serve as the bonus track "Midnight Moonlight (Forever-Sleeping Flower)" of the Kirby: Triple Deluxe Soundtrack.

The theme is also present in The Sound of Kirby Café, in Track 8: Sweet Honey, Pitiful Blooming / Mysterious Trap ~ The World to Win, where it's paired with "Mysterious Trap" in a guitar and piano solo medley.

In the Other Games/Past Adventures menu for Kirby: Planet Robobot, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, Kirby's Blowout Blast, Kirby Battle Royale and all Nintendo Switch games starting with Super Kirby Clash, "Kirby Fighters Deluxe" plays after selecting said game from the menu.

The theme was performed live at the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival as part of the Kirby Through the Years: 2005-2022 medley, along with "Opening" from Kirby: Canvas Curse, "Squeak Squad: Title", "Heavy Lobster", "Fly, Kirby!", and "Northeast Frost Street".
