"VS. Dark Matter"[Japanese title] refers to the musical piece from Kirby's Dream Land 3 which is composed by Jun Ishikawa and serves as the boss battle theme of Dark Matter.

Kirby's Dream Land 3[edit]
During Phase 1 of the final boss battle in Hyper Zone, Dark Matter appears in its black sphere form as this theme plays. It can be found as Track 23 in Kirby's Dream Land 3's Sound Test.
Kirby Star Allies[edit]
The original music from Kirby's Dream Land 3 plays in some rooms of Sector A.
When fighting Morpho Knight, if player 1 is Gooey, Morpho Knight's theme is replaced by a new orchestral remix of this "VS. Dark Matter" theme, arranged by Hirokazu Ando and titled ダークマター イン ザ ハイパーゾーン (Dark Matter in the Hyper Zone) on Kirby Star Allies: The Original Soundtrack. It can be found as Track 177 in the Kirby Star Allies Jukebox as of Version 4.0.0.
