- This article is about one of the themes from Ripple Field. For the level from Kirby's Dream Land 3, see Ripple Field (Kirby's Dream Land 3).
- This article is about the secondary theme of Ripple Field, and should not be confused with Ripple Field: Ocean Waves.
Ripple Field is a stage theme that was composed by Jun Ishikawa. This theme is the second theme from Ripple Field, and can first be heard in the third stage of Ripple Field.
"Ripple Field" is one of the more relaxing themes in Kirby's Dream Land 3. This theme doesn't really have an intro, so it starts with the first portion. This said first portion is in the key of C major and the melody is played with some sort of wave instrument. This melody is played once again, but with a different lead instrument (a trumpet sounding one). After this, the second portion starts, and is played in E-flat major. This portion is played with a synth. A short while after this, the theme seems to descend (it transitions back to the key of C), and the song loops.
Kirby's Dream Land 3
In this theme's origin game, this theme can be heard in Stage 3 of Ripple Field , along with the fourth stage of Sand Canyon and the first stage of Iceberg.
Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition
Along with appearing in Kirby's Dream Land 3, the original version of the theme can be heard when selecting said game in Kirby's History.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
A slightly slower remix of this theme can be unlocked in the level Swept Out to Sea to be heard in the game's Music Room.
The original version of the theme was included in the album The Very Best of Kirby: 52 Hit Tracks.
This theme can also be heard in Track 4: "In a Fluffy Paradise / Cloudy Park ~ Ripple Field" from The Sound of Kirby Café. It is arranged together with Cloudy Park.
