Lawn[1] is a stage hazard in Kirby's Dream Course. It refers to any field of green grass on a board which has arrows pointing in one of the four cardinal directions. When entering a lawn, Kirby will have his direction gently shifted toward where the arrows are pointing, though his speed and rate of acceleration is not affected. Due to the fact that Kirby's guide line does not account for the effect of lawns, care should be taken when traversing them.
