Pichikuri is a bird-like enemy that debuts and appears exclusively in Kirby Air Ride. Here, it is a spiky enemy that floats around and hurts Kirby when touched. Pichikuri gives Kirby the Needle ability when inhaled.
Pichikuri also makes a cameo appearance in Paint Panic in Kirby: Canvas Curse, where Paint Roller draws it.
Its name is derived from the Japanese word, pīchiku, meaning "chatter of birds" and chikuri, which means the state of being stung.
