Fake Patches are items that appear alongside the real Patches in Kirby Air Ride, in the City Trial mode. They appear exclusively during the Fake Items event in the city.
They resemble 8 of the standard Patches, but are misshapen or miscolTemplate:Ored in some way or another. If a racer tries to collect one, they will take damage instead, and be inflicted with some kind of negative effect. This can include being knocked into the air or falling asleep. There is no fake variant of the All-Up or HP patches.

- The Fake Weight Patch would later appear as a sticker in Kirby: Planet Robobot.
