Revision as of 10:02, 31 October 2018

Skits (title screen animations)[1] refer to a series of short animations featuring Kirby, Friend Helpers and Dream Friends, which are performed in the title, file select and mode select menus in Kirby Star Allies.

Overview

Currently, there are 82 different skit patterns, 18 of which were added in Version 3.0.0.[1]

Not all Skit patterns are available when the unknown reader creates a new save file. When the unknown reader starts playing a save file for the first time, only Kirby is seen in the title screen. Many of them are unlocked when the unknown reader meets unused Copy Abilities (including Friend Abilities) and their Friend Helpers. Some are also unlocked by that save file's progress.

Skits are randomly performed in the screen, similar to how the Keychain patterns are randomly displayed in Kirby: Triple Deluxe and how the Robobot Armor and Stickers are randomly displayed in Kirby: Planet Robobot.
