A Needlous is an enemy who has only appeared in three games to date. It first appeared in Nightmare in Dream Land, as the replacement for Togezo from Kirby's Adventure, and later appeared in Canvas Curse and Kirby's Return to Dream Land. In all games in which it appeared, Needlous gives out the Needle Copy Ability when it is inhaled and swallowed by Kirby.

Physical appearance

Needlous has a fuzzy caterpillar-like body with yellow and black stripes. It has eight spikes coming out from various places at the top of its body, three on each side of its waste, and two on its back. Needlous attacks by curling itself in a ball and rolling toward Kirby. When it is not attacking, it only moves slowly across the ground.
