Lanzer is a recurring enemy from recent Kirby games which grants the Spear Ability when swallowed.
Lanzer is a knight, much like Trident Knight, who wields a trident. Unlike Trident Knight, however, Lanzer does not have a sickle headdress, instead sporting a crest, and does not toss its trident. It does however have excellent range when jabbing, so it should be treated with the utmost caution when faced.
The Lanzer's name may come from the German "Lanze", meaning "lance", and "lancer".
