Blowfish is the green, aquatic foe found in abundance on the Aqua Star in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, swimming about the shallow waters. Unlike its real life counterpart, this fish will explode if Kirby comes too close, and in the situation that Kirby sucks this enemy in before it has the chance to blow up, he will gain the Bomb copy ability.
In Stage 4 of Aqua Star, a large Blowfish appears as a Mid-Boss. Unlike smaller Blowfish, this enemy does not explode, and instead simply swims around in a circle, hurting Kirby on contact. It can be defeated after repeated attacks.
