Plot synopsis[edit]
After Adeleine falls in love, Kirby wonders what love is. Adeleine gives Kirby a hug and tells him that the feeling he feels from it is love. Wanting to learn about love, Kirby leaves Adeleine. After finding a red string, Adeleine thinks that it belongs to Kirby and decides to chase after him. Kirby hugs different people to understand what love is: Waddle Dee, which teaches Kirby that love is soft, King Dedede and Chilly, which teaches him that love can be warm or cold, Marx, teaches him that love is unsteady, and Blipper, which teaches him that love can be uncomfortable. Adeleine finds Kirby but finds out that the string doesn't belong to him. She wonders if the red string is connected to her love, and Kirby proposes that they should search for the end of the string. Adeleine is worried that the string won't connect them, but Kirby gives her a big hug, which makes her embrace the feeling of love. She decides that no matter where the string will lead her, she will always love her special someone.
Trivia[edit]
- The red string that Adeleine finds seem to be based on the red thread of fate, an East Asian belief that an invisible red string wrapped around the finger of people connects them to whom they are destined to meet and fall in love.
