Maw is a large-mandible, eponymous foe that dwells in seldom-seen areas, whether it be within the clouds within Shiver Star - Stage 2, or from below the ice as in Shiver Star - Stage 1 in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It lies in wait for Kirby to approach, then it will attempt to eat him up. If successful, it will chew for a moment, then spit him out, dealing damage. It cannot be inhaled. Maw functions exactly like Pacto does in other games.

Maw appears on the 44th Enemy Info Card.
