Maw is a large-mandible, eponymous foe that dwells in seldom-seen areas, whether it be beneath the clouds within few of the stages of the Shiver Star, or from above as in many of the cave levels of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It lies in wait for Kirby to approach, then it will attempt to eat him up. If successful, it will chew for a moment, then spit him out, dealing damage. Maw cannot be inhaled.

Trivia

  • Maw greatly resembles Ghost Knight, but without the equipment.
