"True Arena Showdown"[derived from Japanese] is a music track that was first heard in The True Arena in Kirby Super Star Ultra. It is based on "Arena Showdown", but features a different and more aggressive composition, making prominent use of electric guitars and heavy percussion. The track also features a tempo upswing in the middle, before slowing down for a brief brass section, and then repeating.

Game appearances[edit]

Kirby Super Star Ultra[edit]

"True Arena Showdown" first appeared in Kirby Super Star Ultra, where it plays during most boss fights in The True Arena. Its instrumentation is similar to the version of Arena Showdown which plays in Helper to Hero as well as "The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy" (Galacta Knight's theme song).

Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition[edit]

In New Challenge Stages, the original version of this track can be heard in Smash Combat Chamber EX as the main theme for the stage, though this only has a chance to play as opposed to the Miracle Matter theme.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]

A rearranged version of True Arena Showdown plays in most boss fights in The True Arena from Kirby: Triple Deluxe. This version is largely the same as the original, but uses cleaner-sounding instruments and heavier use of electric guitar. It is arranged by the original composer, Jun Ishikawa.

Kirby Star Allies[edit]

The original version of this track can be heard in certain areas of the stage Sector A in Kirby Star Allies.

Super Kirby Clash[edit]

A remixed version of the Kirby: Triple Deluxe arrangement with added instrumentation plays during the Tougher Party Quests against Ice Dragon, Telepathos, Spark Bonkers, Electric Dragon and Flame Galboros.
