— Description of God Hand from Issue 143 of Nintendo Power, page 71.

God Hand[Japanese title] is a large plated disembodied gauntlet which appears in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble. Its main purpose is to grab and carry Kirby during a bonus game, where Kirby must then time a release to grab bonus items. God Hand cannot be defeated, nor is it actually dangerous to Kirby. It can be seen as a Cannon of sorts.

There are two variants of God Hand that can be found in this game. The first has red accents and moves back and forth on its own, releasing Kirby when the A button is pressed. The other variety of God Hand has gray accents, and can be guided by tilting the Game Boy Color. This one will disappear after 10 seconds, dropping Kirby at its last position.
