Lvl 4-1 is the first stage of Level 4 in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble.

Overview[edit]

The stage begins on a grassy island surrounded by quicksand. Kirby will need to be careful as he heads up through the sand, as he will sink after 10 seconds in it, and Snipper likes to poke out in places to try and snip him. Flipping the Game Boy Color will make star pieces pop out of the sand, but they will sink back in after a few seconds. There are also a number of solid islands to rest on, but these are also home to some Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos. Further up, Kirby will have to avoid whirlpools in the sand as he makes his way to the gate.

Past the gate, Kirby will need to drift past another sand pit with Waddle Dees walking on it. From there, he can pass a ring of sand in the grass with Cappies popping out of it before hopping onto a thin bridge spanning over the next large sand pit. From here, Kirby has a number of different tools at his disposal - including Jump Holes, bridges, and Clouds to help him reach the goal pad at the end.

Extra Game[edit]

In the Extra Game, there are a handful of extra Cappies in the middle of the stage.

Name Description
After crossing the first narrow bridge past the gate, Kirby needs to drift off to the left in the next sand pool and down a narrow corridor to reach a small grassy nook where this star can be uncovered.
After passing through the gate, Kirby needs to drift up and to the right along a narrow sand-filled corridor. This will take him to a small grassy nook where he can uncover this star.
Just before the first set of quicksand vortexes, this star can be found in a niche off to the right of the main sand bar. It takes Kirby to a bonus area high in the sky, where a God Hand will carry Kirby along platforms with bonuses on them. The God Hand drops Kirby after 10 seconds, and can be guided to the preferred prizes by tilting the Game Boy Color.
