Lvl 2-4 is the last stage of Level 2 in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble. The boss Orbservor is faced at the end of it, after which Level 3 is unlocked.
Overview[edit]
The stage begins in a mottled stone-like setting, with a narrow hallway leading up to a wider room where six switches need to be pressed quickly to make the Blockbots up ahead move out of the way. Boolers can be seen in this area, and will slowly drift into the room. Kirby will need to avoid them as he moves up. The following area features Jump Holes on sliders that Kirby can use to hop over the walls. This leads to a field of Boost Pads which will launch Kirby into a more open room with bumpers and a cloud in it. Riding the cloud takes Kirby up to another hallway where he can head to the right using more jump holes to reach the gate.
The following hallway features barriers that can be slid out of the way by tilting the Game Boy Color. The path then bends around some ice blocks suspended over the abyss below, then leads further up past a few more Boolers before reaching the Warp Star that takes Kirby to the boss room.
In the Extra Game, more Boolers appear on the course, and some areas feature bombs which blow holes in the floor. In addition, after taking the Warp Star, Kirby is placed into a new region that he skips in the main game. In this room, he has to obtain a key from a Treasure Chest while dodging a circle of Boolers in order to unlock a door leading to the Warp Star that will take him to the boss.
Boss: Orbservor[edit]
- Main article: Orbservor
This boss fight takes place in a room surrounded by crumbling floors and a mesh floor surrounding that. The Orbservor in this room attacks by hovering over Kirby and trying to slam down on him, turning the regular flooring it lands on into fragile floor tiles. As before, three strikes to the eye will defeat this boss.
The boss arena in the Extra Game is entirely different, now featuring crumbling walls that conceal the square jump holes. The Orbservor fought here is also a different one, sporting a gray look rather than the brown one in the main game. It attacks by rapidly sliding across the stage instead of pounding the ground.
