This article is about the minigame stage in Kirby's Dream Buffet. For the Sub-Game in Kirby: Squeak Squad, see Speedy Teatime.

Teatime is one of the eight Minigame stages in Kirby's Dream Buffet. It is available from the start, and tasks the Kirbys with collecting strawberries that fall into teacups that appear on the plates periodically.

Details[edit]

Unlike other minigame stages, Teatime's objective is always the same, though there are two different variants of the board. In the first, there is a cake in the middle of the board and eight plates surrounding it, which do not move. The second features a teacup plate in the middle with six more surrounding it, and these outer six plates revolve clockwise slowly around the middle one.

As the game progresses, teacups will appear on the plates at random locations; slowly at first, but increasing in frequency over time. When a cup appears, it releases a visual shockwave effect to alert the players to its location. Once the cups appear, strawberries will fall into them shortly afterward, and they can fall in piles of three, five, or seven, with the latter amounts occurring more often near the end of the game. Once all the strawberries are collected or vanish, the teacup holding them will disappear shortly thereafter.
