This article is about the race course in Kirby's Dream Buffet. For other uses of Ice Cream, see Ice Cream (disambiguation).

Ice Cream is one of the eight Race stages in Kirby's Dream Buffet. It is unlocked upon reaching a Gourmet Rank of 17, and consists of long sections made from slippery ice cream and popsicle surfaces.

Overview[edit]

This stage is largely flat and wide, though there are a handful of places with split paths. The main obstacles to contend with here are the slippery popsicle floors, which are interspersed with bottomless pits and tall ice cream obstacles. Collecting the strawberries while also maintaining good speed and footing is difficult here, though the Jelly ability can be used to temporarily make this easier to manage. Aside from the popsicles and ice cream, other elements of this stage include waffle cones, whipped cream, cookies, citrus slices, cutlery, ice cream sandwiches, and wafer rolls.

Variants of this stage differ in the particulars, but they all follow the same basic structure and have the following sections in the following order:

  • A slippery straight first path past large obstacles.
  • A series of sticky circular platforms spanned by bridges leading up to the first Crumbling Cookie Wall.
  • A blocky popsicle area with split paths followed by spinning ice cream scoops ahead of either the second crumbling wall or an archway.
  • A much longer slippery popsicle area with diagonal tiling, split paths, and hazards leading to the end.

Variant details[edit]

The following are noteworthy details for each variant of this stage that cause them to differ from one-another. Note that each variant is named after the color of the background:
