— Description of Blockbot from the manual.

Blockbot is a large wind-up toy robot appearing in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble. It cannot harm Kirby directly, but it will repel him if he runs into it, and can often be seen blocking passageways. There are two different varieties of Blockbot. The red and blue ones are often seen on the move, and if stationary, can typically be made to move by bumping into them. These Blockbots can also be forced to change direction by flipping the Game Boy Color. Yellow Blockbots, on the other hand, stay stationary until they are activated by corresponding switches. After they finish moving, they often petrify, turning into part of the walls and never moving again. Some Blockbots can also make platforms appear around them, which Kirby will often need to use to move along in certain areas.

Blockbot can be defeated using the Microphone or by using invincibility.
