"Southern Shore" is a theme from Kirby Mass Attack primarily associated with Dedede Resort. It was composed by Shogo Sakai.
Composition[edit]
"Southern Shore" is a carefree theme in C major and swung 4/4. It features various instruments associated with the beach: ukelele, steel guitar, lead steelpan and wave sound effects, all of which are fittingly shared with "Dedede Resort". The melody is quite simple and likewise similar to elements from "Dedede Resort" specifically. The first element consists of a rising tonic triad and descending dominant seventh chord, then repeated with light harmonic support. The second element is the motif of "Green Grounds" in the dominant function, resolving with a variation of the melody. The track loops using its intro as a transition.
Game appearances[edit]
