Shinya Kumazaki (熊崎信也 Kumazaki Shinya, 1979-present) is a Japanese video game and graphic designer, and chief director who works for HAL Laboratory. He directed Kirby Super Star Ultra for the first time, and is currently managing the development of the entire Kirby series as General Director since Kirby: Planet Robobot, and succeeded Masahiro Sakurai.
