Kirby: Triple Deluxe Match-Up

Kirby: Triple Deluxe Match-Up is an activity on the Play Nintendo website. It is a match-up game featuring characters from Kirby: Triple Deluxe, released in 2014.

Overview[edit]

On the title screen, the player can choose from three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. Easy uses 8 cards, Medium has 12, and Hard has 24. Each difficulty is represented by a different image of Kirby. Kirby jumping appears in Easy mode, Kirby inhaling appears in medium, and Hypernova Kirby appears in Hard.

The game is a basic memory game, with each card showing artwork of a Copy Ability, item, or character from Kirby: Triple Deluxe. Every completed pair gives the player 500 points. A timer is present in the top left corner, which slowly ticks down, decreasing the player's time bonus (100 points per second), which is applied to the player's score.

After matching all the pairs, the player can view a section called "What's THAT?", which gives a short description of each image that was present in the previous game.

The music that plays throughout the game is a loop of the first section of "Floral Fields".
