"How Many Did We Hit?" is a simple, triumphant theme in C major. Its main instrumentation consists of a frequent brass-synth section playing a spread-out chord progression of "I–ii–iii–ii" in a dotted quarter beat while also mustering its tonality. Key changing to G-flat major, the theme enters its pinnacle as the brass creates a pinnacle progression with accidentals present, concluding with a subdominant chord before resoluting back to C major, looping the theme.
