Nature Notch - Stage 1 is the first stage of Nature Notch in Kirby Squeak Squad. Kirby immediately enters this stage after the cut-scene triggered by defeating King Dedede in Prism Plains concludes. This stage contains a Star Seal, which is necessary to access Secret Sea and complete the game. This stage marks the first appearance of the Metal and Bubble Copy Abilities.

Overview

This stage consists of five main areas. Kirby begins in a tunnel leading downward through the dirt. He will have to make his way past a few enemies as he descends, and uncover the door from behind a Star Block.

Kirby then finds himself in a more horizontal grassy cave. Along the way, he can run into a Metalun, which can grant him the Metal ability. The door can be found to the right past a number of Bomb Block barricades.

In the next area, Kirby will travel via a Cannon chain. Along this chain, a split in the path appears. Kirby will need to fire to the right if he wants to obtain a Treasure Chest. The path re-joins at the end.

From there, Kirby wanders through a cool crystalline cave, and can run into a Bubble Head to get another new ability. Using this new power, Kirby can trot along until he finds a room with a lower deck. Here, a number of bomb block barriers need to be busted through to progress, though if Kirby wants to get another treasure chest, he will need to watch what he breaks.

In the last area, Kirby will need to run down a long cave, and will be in hot pursuit by Spinni and the Squeaks if he collected the large treasure chest. The stage exit can be found at the end of this tunnel.
