This article is about the musical theme. For the anime episode with the same Japanese name, see Fright to the Finish.

"Fly! Kirby of the Stars"[Japanese title] (飛べ!星のカービィ)[2] is a theme that is associated with Another Dimension. It was first heard in Template:KRDL KAW, and reappeared in Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Super Kirby Clash.

Composition

"Fly! Kirby of the Stars" makes heavy use of synthetic instrumentation. It plays at 170 beats per minute in a 4/4 time signature. It incorporates the main leitmotif for Template:KRDL KAW in the latter part of the track, though in a minor key.

Game appearances

Template:KRDL KAW

The Another Dimension theme is first heard in this title. It plays during the main portion of gameplay within Level 8: Another Dimension, and continues into the boss fight against Lor & Magolor. The theme also plays during the Lor & Magolor fight in The Arena and The True Arena.

The theme is also given an orchestral remix on the Kirby Wii Music Selection as part of the medley track ボーナストラック:サイゴノタタカイ (Bonus Track: Last Battle).

Kirby: Triple Deluxe

This theme plays in the Another Dimension stage in Kirby Fighters. It is unaltered from its previous appearance.

Kirby Star Allies

"Fly! Kirby of the Stars" is included among the songs that comprise Magolor's Morpho Knight battle music. The medley is titled 覇王戴冠 ~OVERLORD~ (Crowning of the King ~OVERLORD~) on Kirby Star Allies: The Original Soundtrack.

Super Kirby Clash

In this game, the theme plays when fighting Ordeal: Tougher! Parallel Susie. Like other music in Super Kirby Clash, it has been remixed with additional drum-and-bass and orchestral embellishments.

Trivia

 • The internal name of this track in Template:KRDL KAW's files is st_halberd, which is particularly unusual considering that the Halberd doesn't appear in the game at all, and that all but one of the other tracks with names starting with st play in stages. While it's unclear why exactly this is the case, it's speculated that this track was originally planned to be used in one of the three canceTemplate:Led Kirby games, playing in a stage or boss battle related to the Halberd in some form.
