==Background==
The first post in the series was made on July 3rd, 2019, and at the beginning, the series was usually updated in weekly intervals. However, in late 2020, Dedede Directory became more irregular, posting once or twice a month, with posts usually being posted during the second or third week of the month. The posting schedule changed again shortly before the announcement of ''[[Kirby and the Forgotten Land]]'', with posts becoming bi-weekly. The last post was made on January 12th, 2022. Each post was generally made on Wednesday at around 12:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time, though the time and date sometimes varied, particularly if a special event was being commemorated.

The first post of the Dedede Directory, which naturally features King Dedede presenting himself.

The Dedede Directory (referred to in full as "King Dedede's Wisdom! Dededen Great Directory", translated from Japanese 「デデデ大王のひらけ！デデデン大名鑑」) was a series of posts on the Kirby JP Twitter where King Dedede described various characters from the Kirby series in his own words. These descriptions were formatted with an image portraying King Dedede with various expressions standing next to a collage of artwork and/or screenshots of the character he was describing.

The first post in the series was made on July 3rd, 2019, and at the beginning, the series was usually updated in weekly intervals. However, in late 2020, Dedede Directory became more irregular, posting once or twice a month, with posts usually being posted during the second or third week of the month. The posting schedule changed again shortly before the announcement of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, with posts becoming bi-weekly. The last post was made on January 12th, 2022. Each post was generally made on Wednesday at around 12:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time, though the time and date sometimes varied, particularly if a special event was being commemorated.
