Revenge of the King is an unlockable game within Kirby Super Star Ultra. It is a harder and longer version of Spring Breeze. Most of the enemies are replaced with stronger ones. Bosses are also replaced with harder versions as well.

Stages
Revenge of the King is an main game exclusive to Kirby Super Star Ultra. It is a harder and longer version of Spring Breeze, with many enemies replaced with tougher counterparts, and the bosses all upgraded (and Kabula thrown in as well). It is unlocked when Milky Way Wishes is completed, and must be completed to unlock The True Arena.
Purple Plants
Purple Plants is basically a more difficult form of Green Greens, bearing a purple colour scheme.  The room with a Maximum Tomato stays, but it now has more obstacles and a Rose Lovely.  It has the same music as Green Greens. Whispy Woods is no longer there, and now it is Whispy's Revenge.  Whispy's Revenge can make Gordos, poisonous bugs and apples fall out.  Some apples are poison, and it is very easy to tell which one is poison. Inhaling poisoned apples will cause damage to Kirby.  Whispy's Revenge can shoot tornadoes,  the appearance of which can be indicated by Whispy making an angry face.

Illusion Islands
Plot
Illusion Islands is a bunch of strange islands. It replaces Float Islands.  There is an area full of Grumples.  The music is the same too.  Lololo and Lalala's Revenge is here.  Lololo is now purple and the Lalala is now orange.  Gordos can even move on their own.

King Dedede wants to get revenge on Kirby (presumably for the events of Spring Breeze), so he musters his forces and fortifies his castle. Kirby sets off to defeat him again (possibly presuming that Dedede is up to no good) by traversing the land and besting his minions. He collects three Sparkling Stars along the way, using them to battle Kabula and gain access to the castle.

Crash Clouds
Once inside, Kirby charges toward Dedede's throne room, as Dedede sends in the last of his minions in a desperate bid to stop the pink menace. As this happens, Dedede is having a running conversation with his closest soldier, Bandana Waddle Dee, who bravely defends Dedede despite being dismissed. Once Kirby reaches the ring, he battles the king, who has donned a mask and jet hammer for the occasion.
Crash Clouds replaces Bubbly Clouds.  It is full of clouds.  Kracko Jr.'s Revenge is here too. One room is infested with invisible Plasma Wisps. Kracko is replaced with the end-world boss  Kracko's Revenge , whose lightning beam now goes in 8 directions.

Mt. Dedede Sky
Once defeated, Dedede is knocked out of his castle once more. He and the remainder of his Waddle Dees roam the desert in disgrace, in the knowledge that they simply cannot best Kirby.
In Mt. Dedede Sky, Kirby uses his Starship to fight Kabula, who can shoot bullets, missiles, and Gordos.  Keep shooting stars and dodging Kabula's attacks.

The Revenge
Stages
This stage takes place at King Dedede's Castle, where Kirby must traverse through several rooms containing mid-bosses, before reaching the final boss of this sub-game, Masked Dedede. In the ending cutscenes following his defeat, King Dedede, now without his mask, can be seen walking away, sulking with Waddle Dees.
The stages are played in the following order:
*Purple Plants - EX version of Green Greens. The boss is Whispy's Revenge.
*Illusion Islands - EX version of Float Islands. The boss is Lololo & Lalala's Revenge.
*Crash Clouds - EX version of Bubbly Clouds. The boss is Kracko's Revenge.
*Mt. Dedede Sky - A stage consisting solely of the battle with Kabula.
*The Revenge - EX Version of Mt. Dedede, greatly expanded to include more of the castle. The boss is Masked Dedede.
