I'm generally not in favour of misrepresenting the games by way of digital image enhancement. Emulators commonly apply filters to make the graphics more pleasant to the eye on a high-resolution computer screen, which is not a display device that the games were created for. I'm particularly opposed to the practice for games that use pixel graphics. I would be okay with simple-resizing those if they absolutely need to be bigger, keeping the pixels intact.--[[User:Vellidragon|Vellidragon]] ([[User talk:Vellidragon|talk]]) 00:23, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

Discussion

Just to clarify, since nobody has done this yet. You are allowed to pick less than all four options for your list. I.e. if you really only want one option, you can just list that option and it will be the only one that gets points. You are also allowed to change your vote at any time before the poll ends, so if you didn't know you could do that and want to change your vote accordingly, go right ahead. Just make sure you change the date of signing so people know you adjusted your vote. --Fubaka (talk) 00:58, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

In favor of Option 2 to screenshots of low native resolution (many older pixel-art based games), case-by-case basis. Also if upscaling reveals more intended details. Other than that, if we were to vote on screenshot qualities, obscure by itself or hard-to-get-by material always for lossless capture or best available condition, native or easily-revertable to native resolution modifications. —Viperision (talk) 09:40, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
