Ripple Field is the second level in Kirby's Dream Land 3. It consists of six stages, and a boss fight with Acro. This level follows Grass Land and is followed by Sand Canyon.

Cut-scene

Kirby and ChuChu walk up to the beach. As they converse, Kine swims up from the water. He jumps onto shore and swallows Kirby up. ChuChu and Kine then take turns grabbing Kirby from each-other, until Kine has him fully enclosed in his mouth. ChuChu gets angry at this, trying to reach for Kirby again, but unable to.

Overview

Ripple Field is set in a balmy tropical locale, with ready access to water in nearly every zone that Kirby visits. As such, Kine is an excellent pick for traversing this area in general. Despite the singular theme, a great variety of locales exist in this region. Kirby moves along the low-lying grassy hills of a tropical shoreline in stage 1, then down to the beach in stage 2, then across a coral reef in stage 3, followed by a trip through an aquatic palace in stage 4, then through deep water and submerged caverns in stage 5, and finally reaching a rugged tropical island in stage 6. Along the way, Kirby must contend with many falling Coconuts, aquatic enemies, and strong water currents.

The Heart Star tasks for the denizens of Pop Star in need here are not as straightforward as in the previous level. Usually, Kirby will need to make use of a specific combination of Copy Ability and animal friend to get the job done.

Stages

Each stage is unlocked in succession after clearing the previous one. Defeating Acro is necessary to move on to Sand Canyon.
