- This article is about the level in Kirby's Dream Land 2. For the level in Kirby's Dream Land 3, see Ripple Field (Kirby's Dream Land 3).
Ripple Field is the third level of Kirby's Dream Land 2 and the third of the Rainbow Islands, and serves as an introduction for Kine. Appropriately for a water level, this stage features many swimming sections, and is largely blue in hue. The boss of this level is Sweet Stuff. This level follows Big Forest and is followed by Iceberg.
Cutscene[edit]
The intro has Kirby attempting to feed Kine an apple. After eating the apple, Kine jumps on shore and eats Kirby.
Overview[edit]
Ripple Field is the last of the Rainbow Islands to consist only of three regular stages, though the stages themselves are somewhat longer than those of the preceding levels. Ripple Field is set in a tropical beach locale, with much of the action taking place underwater. Kirby will have a tough time swimming against the currents in the underwater tunnels until he comes across Kine, who can power through any opposing flow. Even so, enemies become more numerous in this level, with many standing (or swimming) directly in Kirby's way.
The Rainbow Drop in this level is tucked away in a fairly well-hidden spot in Stage 3. A number of abilities will be necessary to spot and then obtain this drop.
Each stage is unlocked in succession after clearing the previous one. Defeating Sweet Stuff is necessary to move on to Iceberg. For more information about a particular stage, click on the link to the stage's page in the table.
