Miiverse is a now-defunct social networking service made by Nintendo that was integrated into the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. It was initially announced prior to E3 2012 and was integrated into the Wii U at launch. A website version was released in April 2013, and it was added to the Nintendo 3DS via a system update on December 9, 2013. Miiverse was shut down early November 2017. Every game released on Nintendo 3DS or Wii U had a Miiverse community, and some games had Miiverse integration.

- Kirby Battle Royale holds the record for having a Miiverse community for the shortest amount of time of all first-party games, with the European version releasing on November 3rd, 2017, and Miiverse discontinuing less than a week later.
