Whip is a Copy Ability that debuted in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, obtained by swallowing whip-related enemies. Whip Kirby looks like a cowboy, and attacks by lashing out his whip in several ways. The ability can be used to obtain items across solid walls, as Kirby's whip can go through them. This allows him to reach otherwise unreachable switches and stars.

Whip returns as an ability in Kirby: Planet Robobot, in addition to a new enemy who provides it, Whipcreat.
