Big Forest - Stage 1 is the first stage of Big Forest in Kirby's Dream Land 2.
Overview
Kirby begins the stage at the far left end of a horizontally scrolling section. This part of the stage is mostly a plain stretch of land, which only a few obstacles, and populated mostly by Waddle Dees, many of which run into view from the left side of the screen, and Cappys. At the rightmost end of this area, Kirby finds a door, which leads to a small room in which a Scarfy is holding Coo captive; defeating it releases the Animal Friend from his bag.
The following section scrolls into every direction and is a little more uneven than the first part, containing hills as well as two bottomless pits near the beginning. Bronto Burts are flying in the sky here, which pose a threat to Kirby should he opt to fly over the region. At the far right end, the goal door is located below a log, blocked by three Star Blocks. If Kirby does not proceed to enter the goal right away, he can additionally find a Load Kibble atop a Star Block further above and to the right of it, which can be inhaled for the Cutter ability.
