Halberd Mode is the final Robobot Armor mode. It is the result of fusion between the armor and the battleship Halberd, and possesses all necessary firepower therein.

Game Appearances

Kirby: Planet Robobot

The Halberd Mode appears at the very end of the story mode, after Star Dream announces its plans to eradicate all life in the universe. Meta Knight, freed from the thrall of the Haltmann Works Company, pilots it along with Kirby, who forms the head. They battle Star Dream using this mode.

This mode is also used to battle Star Dream Soul OS at the end of The True Arena.

Halberd Mode's Moveset.
Skill Button Execution Description
Combo Cannon
B
The Halberd fires a rapid volley from the Combo Cannon which, while weak per shot, can be held to rack up damage.
Shots reflect off shields and unbreakable debris.
Capture Inhale
B toward debris
The Halberd turns any destroyed objects (asteroids, robots, etc.) into ammo for the Planet Buster.
This won't work on the segments of the Access Ark during Star Dream's second phase.
Planet Buster
Capture Inhale, and then A
The Halberd unloads its ammo in one go, dealing a good chunk of damage to Star Dream. Higher levels of charge deal more damage.
Sail Wing
L/R
The Halberd does a barrel roll that deflects projectiles and provides a small amount of invincible frames.
Sail Wing can also damage Star Dream and destroy certain objects from it, such as missiles and astroids.

Trivia

  • This marks the first time the unknown reader has ever controlled the Halberd in a Kirby game.
  • Sail Wing may be a reference to the barrel roll of the Star Fox series, as it can deflect Star Dream's shots.
