:::Alright, I've notified the uploader and started attributing the images. If nobody is requesting their deletion, I currently don't see a reason to delete them, though it would certainly be nicer to display what is actually our own work here (we don't currently have an "admin team", btw, I'm really the only one :p). What I'm wondering about, though, is whether :File:PuffballRtDL.png was also stolen, as it wasn't uploaded by Yarnkirby and we do have at least one other transparent image in the gallery evidently not from the Wikia (namely :File:Kirby KRtDL.png). The PuffballRtDL image does resemble yours, but it appears to be a different file size (unless the displayed size on either wiki is off), so I'm not sure.--Vellidragon 13:34, 26 October 2011 (CDT)

Greetings

Hello Vellidragon. Nice to see you here. =3 - Edofenrir( talk) 21:32, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

I must say, I'm loving your work here. You're obviously knowledgeable to wikis, and have pointed out the copy/paste job from Wikipedia. Moreover your writing, page layout, suggestions to template changes, and image additions are excellent. These are all very staffly qualities, and I'm wondering if you are on one of the NIWA wiki's staff? Axiomist 19:08, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

Patroller

Congratulations. For your good work you have been promoted to the Patroller rank. Welcome to the team. =3 - Edofenrir( talk) 20:20, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Edit summaries

Hey, dude, I've been noticing some of you edit summaries, and I wanted to let you know that you occasionally come off a bit harsh. Try to be constructive and friendly so the editors don't feel intimidated, alright? :) Other than that, you're doing a GREAT job patrolling! Keep it up!_Neo(U) (T) (C)(Home) 23:00, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Congrats

Congrats on your promotion :3 perhaps you know me from the MW  :) --Tucayo 15:50, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Thank you :3 I'm honoured. I'll make sure to use my powers well :3 And yeah, I know you, but doesn't everyone though? ;3 --Vellidragon 22:46, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
HMm... Now that I think of it... Are you in the NIWA Forum? Because if you are you should be listed as WiKirby Staff. --Tucayo 14:10, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
I didn't know there was a main NIWA forum until now x_x I just looked it up and signed up there, though, as I figured I probably should. (Username is the same as here (and nearly everywhere else).)--Vellidragon 15:01, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Wow, I thought you had known but chose not to join it. I'll pass the message along if you aren't ranked up now. Axiomist (talk) 03:44, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
I added you ;) --Tucayo 19:00, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
OK, thank you :3 --Vellidragon 13:19, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Reporting a bug

I was going to but a new version of a image of Chip, so I went to upload, then the templates were VERY squashed, and the text were so small, I had to see the keyboard just to get it right. Any solutions? --Joey 5:57 PM, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Hm, it's messed up for me as well. This appears to be a technical issue with the Wiki code, so there's not much I can do about it. I reported the bug at the staff board, though, so someone with the capabilities of fiddling with the code will hopefully fix it in the near-ish future.--Vellidragon 19:43, 15 August 2010 (CDT)

Main Page work

Hello, I just added a Wanted Pages template to the Main Page, and was wanting you to have a look and see if any further adjustments are needed for your screen resolution. After I changed my res to the lowest setting I noticed a gap still exist at the bottom of the right margin, which could hold another small template. My normal res shows the right margin slightly longer than the left. My next move will be to try to change the Videos box to make it a little more consistent between the resolution settings. Axiomist (talk) 08:44, 18 August 2010 (CDT)

Hm, looks fine to me. I see no real problems with it currently. There's a rather tall gap below the Wanted Pages box and to the left of the video one for me, though; not sure if that's the gap you're talking about. As for the rest of the page, it looks fine to me atm, although the right golden wing image of the News box is below the "WiKirby News Box" text instead of to the right of it because it doesn't fit into the box otherwise; not quite sure what could be done about that, though.--Vellidragon 13:12, 18 August 2010 (CDT)

New topic

Just passing along an alert to a new topic in the staff discussion that I hope you and everyone else will take interest in. I'm hoping to implement it this weekend.Axiomist (talk) 22:25, 24 August 2010 (CDT)

Check User

Special:CheckUser is the new tool you have access to. I've only used it twice or so when EmmaWatson spammed, and when Turboo asked to block a second account (which didn't show up). So I'm not so familiar with it to write up the UserRights page on it, but if all of those new accounts adding images and nothing else have matching IPs we might as well block them, if it turns out we blocked a legitimate user, they still have the NIWA forums to inform us on and the reversal is simple enough for them.Axiomist (talk) 15:00, 4 October 2010 (CDT)

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday, according to the skype alert! Anyhow, I think my work week is returning to normal, which means I can finally get things done here. Thanks for holding down the fort with the recent deletions and all! Axiomist (talk) 21:19, 14 November 2010 (CST)

Thank you :D The Skype alert is correct :p And that's good to hear. I do what I can to take care of stuff here, though that's not much with all the Kirby's Epic Yarn edits lately that I can't really patrol without actually having the game or any deeper knowledge about it :\ --Vellidragon 16:03, 15 November 2010 (CST)
No sweat, I bought the game, but haven't had a chance to even rip it out of the plastic. But feel free to ignore them, I'll play it soon and work on it all. Axiomist (talk) 19:47, 15 November 2010 (CST)

Period Spacing

Meh, that's just how I've always done it. (<-2 spaces, :O) I never really knew it was thought of as inefficient until I looked it up a minute ago. (<-again, :O) But still, it's not really a big deal... you don't have to overreact over such a small thing.:P Edit: I suppose it would be serious if done it bulk. Austin (NIWA Operative) 20:20, 16 February 2011 (CST)

The problem here wasn't so much the edit itself as the edit reason, actually, telling other people to also put two spaces after a period (especially with that statement coming from the head patroller); had to clear this up before more people started doing it :p --Vellidragon 12:05, 18 February 2011 (CST)

Maybe A New Kirby?

Well, since there's only Ireland, US, Ireland, and Germany. I might want a Ukraine one. Though I ain't Ukrainnian, I have Ukrainnian blood. Maybe do Ukraine Kirby? --Joey 4:49 PM, February 22, 2011 (EST)

Sure, I'll make one later today; the flag only has two colours, so it shouldn't take long :3 --Vellidragon 17:00, 22 February 2011 (CST)

Last one, Polish Kirby. Simple. Joey

Eh, perhaps tomorrow :P I don't want to edit that page so often, so I'll put it on there when I have a couple other country Kirbies done (well, they are already done, actually, but not their userbox colour schemes :p).--Vellidragon 15:08, 23 February 2011 (CST)
Done and even stranger looking than the rest. Apparently, the Polish flag's white is actually a light grey from the way the colours are officially defined.--Vellidragon 15:42, 24 February 2011 (CST)

Well, gee. My families blood baseline is nearly all Italian. Wow. --Joey

French one? And plus, they're slow because they eat snails. BADABING. Joey
Please stop requesting these if you're not actually going to use them. These take quite a bit of work and time, and I'd rather be spending that on things that are needed.--Vellidragon 21:11, 4 March 2011 (CST)

Axiomist

hiya vellidragon..

i'm sure you heard about the passing of Axiomist..which has hit me very hard emotionally, since i was very close to him. i always tried to prove myself to him yknow, so i could become an admin, and he always said it was a possibility, since it he needed more admins, which made me happy. i wanted to gain respect generally from a community, but now i just want to make sure i'm helping his wiki be the best it can be.

since he's gone now..i dont have anyone to talk to from the wiki regularly, someone else to prove to. He asked me to design the WiKirby mascot, I dont know if you know about it, but if you think I'm making it up, I'm not.

all I want is to make my big bro proud, so if you have skype or msn..please take the time to add me and get to know me..thanks..

--HeathyChan 12:58, 23 March 2011 (CDT)

Hallo. Yes, I know about it, and it hit me just as hard. I know exactly what you mean; I always felt pretty much the same, even though I'm already an admin. I know about the mascot thing, though I don't know what Ax's plans for that were, unfortunately; I'm not sure about a lot of his plans for the wiki, actually, though I for one will be doing my best to keep moving forward with it, hopefully with the continuing support of the rest of the remaining staff and the community. As for Skype and talking, there is a public WiKirby chat on Skype (also see WiKirby:Skype, though that page is terribly outdated) that I could invite you to, though I would need to know your username on there.--Vellidragon 13:24, 23 March 2011 (CDT)
hey, yeah, my skype name is robburrowlover, and thankyou so much for acknowledging my grieving, I think Ax couldve told me a few plans, but i'm not sure, he and I discussed the appearence of the mascot and stuff. Its all we talked about..oh the good old days..--HeathyChan 13:46, 23 March 2011 (CDT)

Comrade!

Are signatures allowed on this wiki, camarada? Nibbles 03:23, 5 April 2011 (CDT)

They are :3 Just abstain from using images in a sig though, as they're generally found to be distracting.--Vellidragon 10:13, 5 April 2011 (CDT)

Long Time, No See

So...yesh. I'm back and I CAN'T wait for the Kirby Wii to come out. :D

So, I wonder if you can make a Brazilian-American Kirby? I'm really Brazilian American, and I know it could take some time, but it would be worth it since I am gonna really put it on my homepage. --Joey

Welcome back! I can wait, as I likely will hardly get to play it, like with Epic Yarn, and all it means is that even more things have to be covered when we're not even nearly done covering the games that already exist ;_; *kicks a stub in frustration*
As for that Kirby, I have no idea how that would look. Just a country Kirby with half of the Brazilian and half of the U.S. flag? Please specify.--Vellidragon 18:19, 18 July 2011 (CDT)

Yes, Half of Brazil on one side, US on the other side. Doesn't matter which side is which. --Joey

Ok, here it is: clicky! Just fused the already existing U.S. one with the Brazil one, but with a nicer transition. Looks kinda odd, but meh :\ U.S. flag is on the left so the stars are visible. Wasn't sure if you wanted it on WiKirby as well or just on your homepage. If you need it here, feel free to upload it. Please let me know when you've uploaded this anywhere though so I can delete it from my own webspace.--Vellidragon 19:02, 18 July 2011 (CDT)

Can you put it in like a template like you do with the other Kirbies? Joey

You can easily do that yourself by copying the code of an existing userbox and changing it accordingly; that's why the userboxes aren't hardcoded in the first place. You probably know better than I what colours you want, etc.--Vellidragon 11:21, 19 July 2011 (CDT)

Help Me!

Hey, uh... how are you supposed to "rank up" or whatever? I mean, I've been contributing a LOT lately, and it's not really doing anything. :-{ --Catulaster 16:07, 4 August 2011 (CDT)

It doesn't happen automatically and it has nothing to do with your amount of contributions. Users may be promoted (i.e. made part of the staff) by a bureaucrat (i.e. me) if the staff (i.e. me :\ Everyone else left or isn't particularly active) considers them worthy of a promotion; making very good edits and showing understanding of the site's standards and the general internal workings of a wiki are a requirement for that. There is no "ranking up" system; I guess the wording on the help page for this is rather confusing, which I apologise for; I believe our help pages were initially taken from a different wiki and not all of them are flawless. Anyway, I'm not yet seeing the "understanding of the site's standards" very much in your edits, but I'll be watching your contributions and if they improve, you may eventually be promoted :3 --Vellidragon 16:19, 4 August 2011 (CDT)
EDIT: The guidelines in the help are partially outdated, as far as I'm aware, so you may want to look at how things are usually done and figure out standards from that; in particular, check out some articles I made and the featured Kirby's Dream Land 2 page to get an idea of style and such. I'm really sorry our help pages aren't as helpful as they should be and will be working on them when I get around to do so :\ --Vellidragon 16:23, 4 August 2011 (CDT)

Contractions

Hey. Sorry if it seems like I'm taling too much, but sorry for my abundance of contractions. It's just in my blood (I guess) to use contractions while writing. Is there any way for me to delete said contractions without deleting EVERYTHING ELSE that I've edited?! --Catulaster 10:53, 5 August 2011 (CDT)

No need to be sorry as long as you try not to use them in articles anymore :3 As for getting rid of them, unless you inserted them in a seperate edit, the only way (as far as I'm aware) to revert them without undoing other things is to do so manually for each contraction (in a new edit, as opposed to using "undo" on the old one). Ctrl+F may help you find them more easily, though (when I was "uncontracting" some contractions yesterday, I searched for ' (apostrophe) and cycled through the results; this of course finds the bold & italics code and the genitive 's as well, though, both of which should of course remain intact).--Vellidragon 14:01, 5 August 2011 (CDT)

Who Knew?

Wow. I had no idea the universe would hate me for providing a resource for Kirby artwork on a Kirby Wiki. Apparently I had done everything wrong-the images I uploaded were the wrong file type, they weren't transparent, and everyone on the wiki already knew about the site (although little to no anime artwork was uploaded). I've always disliked Wikipedia, Mario Wiki and others because of how the wiki "government" controls every page, complains about every user when "This is a free encyclopedia that anyone can edit," and undoes most edits. I have no doubt you will respond to me with hate, remove my comment from your discussion page, and possibly even ban me. Once I AM killed-I mean, you remove me from the wiki, I hope you can take time out of your busy schedule of "patrolling" to put the artwork in photoshop and remove the horrible white background that ruins the entire image. --Triple D is awesome 13:47, 7 August 2011 (CDT)

Uploading images in the right format and with transparency right away, especially seeing how it's a wiki-wide standard, shouldn't really be asking too much. I don't quite understand your problem here; apparently, you are asking me to let everyone do what they want without following rules or standards? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what an unorganised mess that would result in. Insulting me for enforcing standards in order to prevent Wikirby from becoming a mess really wasn't necessary. WiKirby, like other wikis, is indeed a "free encyclopedia that anyone can edit", but that doesn't mean that you should edit it if you're not planning to cooperate and actually enhance the site by following existing standards (not to mention you are agreeing that other people may change your contributions by submitting them, as is quite clearly explained at the bottom, so don't complain about your edits being undone. If you want to do whatever you like without running the risk of adjustments being made, maybe a wiki is not the place to go (and if you are going to insult people and throw false accusations around every time you receive critique, it definitely is not the place to go)). Thank you for your concerns about my schedule, but be informed that it mostly consists of having a life rather than "patrolling", so I would still be grateful if you did not unnecessarily take away my time. I am afraid I'm not going to ban you, but I will have to warn you to stop your aggressive behaviour.--Vellidragon 14:38, 7 August 2011 (CDT)

^ Sorry 'bout that

I have a rare medical condition (which I'll keep unnamed for privacy purposes) that can result in low blood pressure and crankiness, among other things. That said, I probably should stay away from talk pages (esp. the admin's) when I need to raise my blood pressure. Sorry.--Triple D is awesome 17:30, 7 August 2011 (CDT)

It's alright :3 Sorry if I seemed harsh above, I had no knowledge of your condition and was just doing my job in telling you to stop. But yeah, you should probably stay away from user talks at those times :\--Vellidragon 18:05, 7 August 2011 (CDT)

Yes, I did upload the artwork in PNG and transparent, check out the page here. :3 I'm also uploading the artwork for Whispy, Ice Dragon, Rick, and some of the villagers today. --Triple D is awesome 09:35, 9 August 2011 (CDT)

Yeah, I saw that you've been uploading transparent ones. These are looking great :3 Almost makes me feel like writing some anime sections/articles, but I have yet to actually watch most of the English dub episodes :p Added Masher's artwork to its page, though :3 --Vellidragon 10:23, 9 August 2011 (CDT)

As I have pointed out, there is a discussion about that on the talk page. Feel free to provide an official(!!) source there that refers to the game by that name (the Nintendo site still linked in the article itself calls it "Kirby™ Wii", for your information) there and an agreement on moving or not moving may be reached; no trustable source has been provided at this point and the current situation is not in favour of a move. Please stop moving the article or otherwise pasting it somewhere else unless this has been agreed on. If you don't voluntarily stop, I may have to temporarily block you from editing. Neither of these are official Nintendo sources, and see the Kirby Wii talk page once more. Apparently, a recent Nintendo Power survey uses a different name, so don't bother arguing for this one anymore.--Vellidragon 14:49, 14 August 2011 (CDT)

How do I change my name?Dedede: SuperStar DX!!! 11:12, 17 August 2011 (CDT)

You can't, only bureaucrats (i.e. I) can. I was just asking for permission to do so (in order to remove the colon). If you want it changed to something else entirely, just let me know and I can do that as well, though (this remains true in the future as well, if you ever need it changed for some reason).--Vellidragon 11:32, 17 August 2011 (CDT)

Curiosity about upload error

While I was uploading the images for the Kirby Super Star Ultra table, it wouldn't allow me to name a a sprite of bandana waddle dee "File: BandanaSSU.png". I got this: You do not have permission to do that, for the following reason: The title "File:BandanaSSU.png" has been banned from creation. It matches the following blacklist entry: .*[Aa4][Ss5][Ss5].* For my own curiosity, why was this title banned? --Triple D is awesome 08:20, 19 August 2011 (CDT)

The word was banned because it's a swear word. I whitelisted a large number of innocent words including it, but didn't think of the possibility that anyone may want to put "SSU" after an "a". I'm going to try and whitelist it.--Vellidragon 09:24, 19 August 2011 (CDT)
EDIT: Done, should work as it should in the future. :3 --Vellidragon 09:30, 19 August 2011 (CDT)

Add to help

Sorry about embedding an illegal video, won't happen again. Out of curiosity and for my own personal gain as an editor, I looked over all possibly relevant sections of Wikirby's help and found nothing against illegal videos or linking to them. While I agree this should be a defined rule, we should add it to "help" so other users don't make the same mistake. I did find a Help:Youtube on Mario Wiki, which could be used as a reference for this but Wikirby will obviously have different standards. -Triple D is awesome 12:23, 25 August 2011 (CDT)

That's odd, I could have sworn we had stated this somewhere, but I can't find anything clear either :\ WiKirby:User Accounts does state linking to questionable content as a potential banning reason, though, which I presume anything illegal would fall under; should perhaps make that more obvious. The thing to realise here is that it's not WiKirby-specific, though, it's downright illegal (to my knowledge), so it should not be necessary to explicitly mention it here, as WiKirby is not exempt from the law; then again, it certainly won't hurt to mention it, necessary or not, so I'll look into that some time.--Vellidragon 13:37, 25 August 2011 (CDT)
An update on this! I was in fact not mistaken when I thought that we mentioned this in the help. This sentence is in the Quality Standards:
Do not put up links to online Manga translations, fansubs of Japanese retail videos, TV show episodes, or game ROM downloads.
That should cover it nicely.--Vellidragon 10:09, 27 August 2011 (CDT)

Uploading Assistance

I know it's kinda stupid for me to ask this, (mind you, I'm still a beginning editor) but how am I able to link a video to an article? (Sorry if you don't understand what I'm talking about) --CatuLaster 18:49, 26 August 2011 (CDT)

If you mean how to embed a YouTube video, use Template:Youtube; instructions are in the template documentation. Remember not to embed anything of questionable legality, though, like free anime episodes.--Vellidragon 09:27, 27 August 2011 (CDT)

Sorry, Sorry, And Sorry Again

I'm very sorry about that :( I didn't know deleting those would make me seem like I'm ignorant, or whatever. But, I have one thing to ask: When you redirect an article, the redirect takes you to a page with a normal link on it (i.e. Top Ride). However, other pages (i.e. Turn) take you immediately to another page. My question: how do you do that? --CatuLaster 11:14, 28 August 2011 (CDT)

It's ok. And you make automatic redirects by not putting anything else than the redirect itself on the page; the Top Ride thing had wikicode for italics around the link, breaking it. The redirect page must only consist of "#REDIRECTtarget", no wikicode or anything.--Vellidragon 11:58, 28 August 2011 (CDT)

Sorry about that

I'm sorry I deleted your your admin message. I deleted it because I understood what you were saying, and I promise it will never happen again. I hope you understand what I am saying. --Meta_knight_12 20:20, 08 September 2011 (CDT)

That's alright :3 There's no need to apologise, I'm just doing my job when I'm writing warnings or reminders. On an unrelated note, as I'm talking to you anyway, the Waddle Doo and Dee images on your user page appear to be fan art; if they are, please mark them as personal images as per Help:Personal Images and ensure you have usage permission by the creator if you want to keep them.--Vellidragon 14:36, 14 September 2011 (CDT)

Nintendo 64

Thanks for your help Mario (T·E·C)

You're welcome, but there's no need to thank me :3 Helping out with articles is (part of) my "job", really ;P --Vellidragon 11:30, 20 September 2011 (CDT)

Rename

Is there a place where you can get renamed? Mario (T·E·C)

No, but there's a person who can rename you :P I don't believe we have official rules on renaming, but I'll rename anyone who asks. Just let me know what to change your name to if you need it changed.--Vellidragon 12:19, 24 September 2011 (CDT)

Maybe just "Mario"? MB.!

Okay, done :3 --Vellidragon 13:53, 24 September 2011 (CDT)

Image Request

Vellidragon, could you supply me with an image for each Kirby Air Ride course? I mainly ask this because I'm editing from a cell phone, so I can't... proceed downloading images. Sorry, and thanks if you can. --Catulaster 15:45, 28 September 2011 (CDT)

Sorry, I wouldn't know where/how to get them without stealing them, and I have never even played Kirby Air Ride :\ I'd love to help out, but I don't think I have a way to do so. I can check if a Nintendo site has images of them, but I likely won't know which course is which.--Vellidragon 16:13, 28 September 2011 (CDT)
The UK website has screenshots of the game, but they're not captioned, so I don't know what courses they depict :< --Vellidragon 16:31, 28 September 2011 (CDT)

Names In Other Languages, Or Not?

Should every article, related to something that actually has another translation, have a Names In Other Languages section? I just wanted to know, for future reference, or whatever. --Catulaster 16:56, 18 October 2011 (CDT)

No idea what you mean. Everything with names in other languages should have names in other languages listed, if you mean that. Makes no sense to me not to list them if they exist (and they almost always do, at the very least in Japanese).--Vellidragon 17:46, 18 October 2011 (CDT)

Jerkweed?

The page title has been blacklisted, but Jerkweed is a common and important thingamajig in Mass Attack. Any chance you could please fiddle with that? Sparky 15:35, 23 October 2011 (CDT)

Thank you very much for informing me. It is, in fact, the word "weed" that is blacklisted, so everything containing that will also be blocked by default. I just added "Jerkweed" to the whitelist, though, so that should work now; let me know if it still doesn't and I'll look into it more.--Vellidragon 15:40, 23 October 2011 (CDT)

Hello Vellidragon. I'm one of the caretakers of Wikia's Kirby wiki, but that's not important. I just wanted you to know that the transparent pngs on the Kirby's Return to Dream Land article are taken from there.

Gamefreak (one of the older admins) loaded up high-res jpegs and and asked me to clean them up, and I spent several hours doing so via filters and background removal tools personally (using Corel Paint Shop Pro X3). Several of those pictures I uploaded myself separately and they are not found anywhere else on the internet - the transparent Lor Starcutter pic or the group character picture straight from the PAL / Japan box art front for example - I had to decompile Nintendo's original Flash files using a specific decompiler tool (Trillix) and recompose them. These processes modify the images in a specific way - removal of artifacts modify individual pixels depending on specific filter settings, and pixel-perfect recomposition of the images from separate Flash "sprite" data using Trillix means sometimes the final image attains a faint grey edge, and the images are extracted at Nintendo's original resolution. I checked the images for duplicity by sampling pixels and they have 100% matching, so there's no doubt about the primary image source.

With all due respect, I'm not asking for the images to removed unless that's how things are run - since none of us own those images and Nintendo holds the copyright, but according to Wikirby's inter-wiki policy I think Yarnkirby should have attributed the source of the image to the wiki at least when he/she uploaded them. I'm aware of the possibility that some third-party site might have taken the images as-is from Wikia, and Yarnkirby might have taken the pictures from there, so I really don't know.

On the flipside, if you happen to discover any pictures or any content for that matter on Wikia taken straight from Wikirby, please do tell me and I'll confirm the source with the editor and remove it if it's ripped straight from another wiki or Kirbypedia / KRR.

I had been wondering where those images came from, actually. Let it be known that this wasn't approved by me, nor was I aware of it. I thank you for informing me and will leave the uploader a message as soon as I can. You stated you're not requesting their deletion, but I can still delete them if you change your mind; I'm not particularly attached to them and they're all just in a random gallery at the moment, so this wouldn't be too problematic. I would like to avoid hostilities, so please do tell me if anyone over there wants them gone and I'll make it happen. What I will do in any case, as soon as I have the time, is properly attribute them. Thanks again for informing me of this, and do let me know if anyone steals images from your wiki again.--Vellidragon 14:40, 25 October 2011 (CDT)
Ah, no problem, and, whether they're deleted or not is really up to the decisions of Wikirby's admin team =) I just wanted to be clear that having them removed is not the intention of the message. For the record, I don't know where Gamefreak got the original jpgs from, and they don't look like scanned media. They might be for press-related institutions / publishing bodies or from e-book subscriptions or other restricted sources to which I have no access to.
Best regards, Changtau2005 15:36, 25 October 2011 (CDT)
Alright, I've notified the uploader and started attributing the images. If nobody is requesting their deletion, I currently don't see a reason to delete them, though it would certainly be nicer to display what is actually our own work here (we don't currently have an "admin team", btw, I'm really the only one :p). What I'm wondering about, though, is whether File:PuffballRtDL.png was also stolen, as it wasn't uploaded by Yarnkirby and we do have at least one other transparent image in the gallery evidently not from the Wikia (namely File:Kirby KRtDL.png). The PuffballRtDL image does resemble yours, but it appears to be a different file size (unless the displayed size on either wiki is off), so I'm not sure.--Vellidragon 13:34, 26 October 2011 (CDT)
