The Nintendo 64 is a game console released by Nintendo in 1996 and 1997. It is the successor of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the predecessor of the Nintendo GameCube. It also had a disk drive add on called the Nintendo 64DD, though this saw release only in Japan. Only one main Kirby game was made for it, although Super Smash Bros., a game that also features Kirby as a playable character, is a Nintendo 64 game as well.
