When a medal is earned, the unknown reader is also given Play Points, which can be used to unlock material such as Headgear. The game keeps track of the medals which the unknown reader has earned in a separate menu, similar to the Checklist from earlier titles. There are 60 in total, and earning all of them is necessary for 100% Completion of the game.
