Warp Star

Warp Stars are one of the primary modes of transportation in the Kirby series. They have appeared in nearly every Kirby game since their first appearance in Kirby's Dream Land. Warp Stars have the appearance of a large, yellow, five pointed star. In the games they are used to carry Kirby from one section of a level to another or transport Kirby to another level.

In the Games

Kirby's Dream Land

The Warp Stars made their first appearance in Kirby's first game Kirby's Dream Land. They were used to take Kirby from one section to another.

Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land

In Nightmare in Dream Land, Warp Stars were used to transport Kirby to distant levels, such as from Vegetable Valley to Orange Ocean. They were also found in the doors of levels, where they transported Kirby to another part of the level.

Super Smash Bros. series

In the Super Smash Bros. series, the Warp Star is an item that a character can use to go up in the sky and land on the ground, making the same impact. It can be moved while in the sky by pressing the normal buttons used to move.

Kirby Air Ride

In Kirby Air Ride, the Warp Star is the only machine available in the beginning of the game. It is naturally one of the most balanced machines in the game.
