Grass Land - Stage 2 is the second stage of Grass Land in Kirby's Dream Land 2. Rick the hamster first appears in this stage, along with the Mid-Boss Efreeti.

Overview

This stage continues the plains aesthetic, but the road has become bumpier, and is patrolled by Flamers, who grant the Burning ability. The door to the next room can be found in a small cave, blocked off by a thick barricade of star blocks that is easy to rip through using Burning.

In the following small chamber, Kirby must fight and defeat the Mid-Boss Efreeti. Defeating this foe will grant Kirby the Burning ability, if he didn't already have it before, and free Rick from the sack above. Kirby and Rick and proceed together through the door that appears when Efreeti goes down.

Back out in the open plains, Rick and Kirby move forward past picket fences, and deal with a number of enemies. An Energy Drink can be found along the way to refresh the pair if needed. The stage exit can be found at the end of the path.
