The Game Boy Color is a portable handheld console released by Nintendo on October 21, 1998 in Japan and November 18, 1998 in North America. It is fully backwards-compatible with all Game Boy games. Its main improvement over the original Game Boy is its Template:Colour screen, capable of displaying up to 56 Template:Colours simultaneously.
One Kirby game was developed for the Game Boy Color.
