WiKirby:Cross-Wiki Week

The Cross-Wiki Week is an annual event hosted by the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance (NIWA), held to celebrate Nintendo's birthday. The purpose of the event is to promote cooperation by inviting editors to contribute to wikis they don't regularly edit. At the end of the event, two winners will receive $20 Nintendo eShop gift cards for participating! The 2022 Cross-Wiki "Week" will take place from Friday, 23 September, to Friday, 30 September. Help us out!

Here are some example tasks that users from across NIWA can perform for the Cross-Wiki Week. If you are unsure about WiKirby's policy regarding editing and uploading, check the Help:Contents page and look for any relevant policies to what you have in mind. When adding new information, we ask that you do not copy and paste information from other Kirby Wikis or fan-guides. When you are done with a particular bullet point, feel free to remove it from the listing.

Easy tasks

• There are over 100 pages that could use more images (some only need a screenshot or two). Check this category for a list of pages that need images.
  • Particularly needed are screenshots from Kirby Mass Attack.
• Recapture screenshots in native resolution (see Category:YouTube sourced images for images in most need of recapturing).
• Some enemy/mid-boss pages may be missing location tables or other such details.

Not-so-easy tasks

• Find better quality versions of files in Category:Low quality images (please do not take images from Kirby FANDOM or any of those dubious "find PNG" sites)
• Pages and/or expansions for the following important topics:
  • Merchandise (and related sub-pages)
  • Miiverse
  • Neichel
  • Kirby of the Stars: The Story of Dedede Who Lives in Pupupu
  • Kirby of the Stars! Moretsu Pupupu Hour!‏‎
  • Kirby of the Stars (manga by Yoshiko Sakuma)‏‎
  • Hoshi no Kirby: KiraKira Pupupu World
  • Kirby Art & Style Collection
  • Kirby: Magical Tower of Medal Land
  • Kirby: Sparkling Medal Land
• There are a couple famous paintings on the Royal Acadddemy of Arts page that have not yet been identified.
• Glitches pages need to be made/expanded. Check this template for relevant links.
• Music pages. There are a lot of these to be made. Check Wanted pages for these.
• Sourcing files that don't have them. Check Category:Files lacking sources and its subcategories for details. Make sure not to use other wikis as sources, unless those wikis list a proper source for the file in question.
