Move[edit]

I just randomly found this move template without a discussion here, so I will start one. Right off the bat I will say I am against. I am the one that hunted down a while ago what sub-games were called in each game, and really, there was no pattern. If we go and use the moving policy to use the most recent name, I feel we will have to rename this page now, and then again whenever the next game releases and so on. We did rename Jukebox a while ago but that was because that name had been used consistently by multiple Kirby games at that point and, really, "sub-game" hasn't had a consistent name lately. "Subgame" was used in KRtDLD, sure, but just last year we got "Sub-Game" used in the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival. Point is, I don't really see one single name being constantly used, and since this is a page that appears a lot in the wiki, I feel it's not productive to always rename if with the last used name if Nintendo/HAL cannot come on a consensus on what to use in English. (I will say I am saving this comment pending an investigation of the usage of these terms for KatFL and possibly other stuff, if anyone wants to add feel free to.) - Gigi (talkedits) 23:00, 16 June 2023 (UTC)

Recency should definitely not be the primary factor in article titles, for the same reason that the wiki agreed some time ago that it should not be the primary factor in the choice of Infobox image for characters. —willidleaway [talk | edits] 23:08, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
Agreed, keeping the page consistent so we don't move it with every new game is probably the best option unless we get a few games in a row with the same name for them. ---PinkYoshiFan 21:41, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
