Talk:Invincible Candy (theme from Kirby's Dream Land)
Confused about the coverage of this page
Looking closely, I realized this page also covers the Invincible Candy theme from Kirby 64 and Mass Attack, even though they are completely different compositions, and I don't really think they belong in this page. Moreover, I noticed that we don't have the audio tracks from the remixes from Block Ball and the "A Full-Speed Farewell from the New World" section from Forgotten Land. Was this page made to just cover the audio that plays when Kirby is under the effect of the Invincible Candy? If so, why? I would much prefer if this page just focused on the composition from KDL and its remixes than that. - I think that "just covers the audio that plays when Kirby is under the effect of the Invincible Candy" is correct, since the other two unique Invincible themes wouldn't be notable enough to get their own articles. We did talk about this a bit on the Discord and decided that Block Ball's level 1 theme shouldn't be on here due to being more significantly different of a theme, in both melody and context, but "A Full-Speed Farewell from the New World" probably should be on here since it's an explicit remix. Move
While I still don't like the idea of covering multiple compositions in this page, I would at least strongly advise to move this page's qualifier to "themes" rather than just "theme", as we are covering themes plural here, not just a single theme. - Gigi (talk • edits) 12:06, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
- I agree that renaming the page because of covering multiple themes is a good idea, but if we're covering multiple themes and the the name was only specifically given to two out of three of them (the main one and KMA) then would using a group name for the article (although it would have to be something conjectural) be better? ---PinkYoshiFan 12:39, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
