A Spring from Kirby Super Star Ultra.
A Spring is an object that first appeared in Kirby Super Star, and has made only a few appearances since. It is a large yellow coiled spring with a pad on top that rests on the floor. If Kirby or another playable character touches it, they will be launched upward very quickly and very high. Springs cannot be inhaled, or otherwise destroyed. They also cannot be activated by enemies or other objects.
In Kirby's Return to Dream Land, there is a giant spring that can be found in one of the stages with the Grand Hammer ability. Smashing this spring down with the hammer causes it to contract, then unwind, launching Kirby in a manner similar to a Cannon.
