Dark Matter is one of the primary antagonists of the Kirby series, appearing in three games to date, namely Kirby's Dream Land 2, Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. == History==
Dark Matters are beings born from darkness, they are in theory darkness, they are notably together and always form a black large orb (to which Kirby always invade), they are also not simple minded as seen Kirby dream land 2 in which one of them took over dream land leader and even turn the sky dark, Dark matters are a force to fear, as they can turn a entire lifeless, they do this by first sending a single Dark matter to the Planet to weaken the defense and scan the area, then the whole pile of them rush in and posses everything slowly draining the host life force, they are also very social wise have a Leader who command their every moves.
== Social wise==Dark Star
Dark Matter as soon as they are form usually join forces with other Dark Matter forming a Dark star to called, this dark star is not made of Dark matter OF dark matter, you see Dark matter are soaping dark meaning they are ooze(seen when three dark matter where chasing Ribbon they were leaving a trail of darkness) that ooziness is what the Dark star is made of, the Dark Star has chamber in which section of Dark live, it in fact is a plant for Dark matters, the royal chamber is the only chamber that has been seen, it contain the leader Zero, there is in fact one Zero in the grumble Galaxy so there is only one Dark Star, Zero chamber is known as Hyper zone where he is kept, Zero can actually control the whole Planet in here where he travel through space in search of planet to feast upon, rather weirdly  is that Zero is White without a trace of dark as if to said even inside darkness there is some light that is ready to shine, like a yin and yarn object.....
conclusion
Dark Matter can't be beaten by normal weapon they can only be beat by either destroy Zero which will cause a big boom taken them out because like an ant can't survive without a colony a dark Matter can't survive without the dark star, there is other way...positive emotion..., the Love, love stick can completely destroy a Dark matter and it can't revive itself, weapon like hammer or sword will do the same as the Rainbow sword, hardly affect them and also will kill them only for them to revive, click on Zero to find more on the Dark Matter....
